Sustainability and Commerce – How to win people and create a better planet

How do you move from one of the biggest fast moving consumer good organizations to a net zero organization?

Dive with us into the wonderworld of ice cream and discover how big brands like Magnum and Walls (Dutch known as ‘Ola’) make big steps in realizing happy people and a happy planet without you probably even noticing it..!

Ice Cream creates smiles. No matter what age. It’s a product that represents happiness, indulgence and memories. On the other hand, ice cream often is diary rich and is a product that requires lots of cooling for its production process up until the moment of consumption. So, when we create a smile, we also create substantial emission. To live up to our purpose ‘making sustainable living commonplace’ by being the ‘happy people to create a happy planet and winning smiles’ big steps have been made and bigger impact programs are needed to realize our commitment to be Net Zero by 2039.

Wow, a Net Zero value chain – that is a big commitment..! How do we do this in a time where both consumers, customers (retailers/supermarkets) and shareholders are increasingly demanding? Join me on the journey to create value via sustainability for consumers, customers, shareholders and our own business. Get to learn how to commercialize sustainability and make sustainable living commonplace!

Learning goals:

  • Learn about various aspects to make your product or service more sustainable and future fit;
  • Gain insights in how to create partnerships to commercialize and scale sustainability faster;
  • Get inspired to go for the extra mile to make real impact by investing in people and planet via long-term impact programs.
